On December 22, the School of Computer Science and Technology successfully held the 2025 Graduate Student Academic Innovation Forum in the Advanced Technology Research Center at Xiushan Campus. The forum aimed to stimulate the innovative vitality of graduate students, promote academic exchange and mutual learning, and effectively enhance their research literacy and innovation capabilities. The event was attended by the Party Committee Secretary of the school, Xia Yuqin; Vice Dean (Acting Dean) Huang Jun; representative facutly members, as well as graduate students and international graduate students. The forum was presided over by Vice Dean Xue Wei.


Xia Yuqin began by extending a warm welcome and gratitude to the experts, judges, faculty members, and students. He emphasized that the Graduate Student Academic Innovation Forum is a meticulously crafted academic brand of the school and an important platform for talent cultivation. He encouraged students to seize the opportunity, base their work on national strategic needs. He urged them to fully showcase their research achievements, remain down-to-earth in their scientific endeavors, and strive to produce more high-quality academic outcomes. Following this, Ms. He Li, Executive Deputy Editor of the “Journal of Anhui University of Technology (Natural Science Edition)”, was invited to deliver a special lecture titled "Standards and Techniques for Writing Scientific Papers." She provided systematic and detailed guidance to the attending graduate students on the structure, key points, and common issues in scientific paper writing.


During the student presentation session, participating students took the stage one by one to report on the core aspects of their research, including the background, proposed methodologies, experimental design, and results. In the Q&A session, the students responded calmly and demonstrated clear thinking, showcasing their solid academic foundation and strong sense of innovation. Based on comprehensive evaluations by the judges, the forum ultimately awarded two first prizes, three second prizes, five third prizes, and six excellence prizes for academic presentations. Prof. Huang Jun congratulated the award-winning students and encouraged them to delve deeper into their academic pursuits, continuously improve their research and practical abilities, and contribute to the development of the school. He also presented honorary certificates and prizes to the winners, and a group photo was taken with the attending teachers and students.

The successful organization of this forum showcased the scientific research achievements of graduate students, identified shortcomings in the research through in-depth discussions, and provided references for subsequent work. The school will continue to host the "Academic Innovation Forum" to support the steady development of graduate education and cultivation.
