Report 1Optimizing Cloud Service Anomaly Detection via Multimodal Data Fusion and Diffusion Probabilistic Models Speaker: Dr. Kaigui Bian, Associate Professor & Ph.D. Supervisor, School of Computer Science, Peking University Time: August 2, 2026, 08:00–10:00 Venue: Room 513, Advanced Technology Research Center, Xiushan Campus, Anhui University of Technology Audience: Faculty members and students of the School of Computer Science and Technology and related disciplines Organizer: School of Computer Science and Technology Abstract. Modern cloud platforms widely employ microservice architectures, making anomaly diagnosis increasingly challenging. This seminar introduces a novel anomaly detection framework that combines multimodal data fusion with diffusion probabilistic models. The proposed approach integrates heterogeneous monitoring data in the wavelet domain using an attention mechanism and further employs a spatiotemporal graph-based diffusion model for non-autoregressive multi-step prediction. Experimental results on public benchmarks and production systems demonstrate substantial improvements in anomaly detection accuracy.
