Zhi Liu, Bachelor of Science and Technology from University of Science and Technology of China, Ph.D. in Informatics from Japan National Institute of Informatics, is currently a lecturer at National Shizuoka University and a distinguished researcher at Waseda University, and a special researcher at the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS). Research areas include: wireless network video transmission, in-vehicle network, edge computing, etc. IEEE Journal of Selected Topics in Signal Processing, IEEE Transaction on Multimedia, IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems for Video Technology, IEEE Transaction on Vehicular Top journals such as Technology and international conferences have published more than 70 papers. Won the IEEE Streamcomm 2011 Best Paper, 2015 Young Scholar of the Japanese Institute of Electronic Information, 2018 ICOIN Best Paper and other awards. He is a guest editor of journals such as Wireless Communications and Mobile Computing, Sensors and IEICE Transactions on Information and System, IET Intelligent Transport Systems, and chair of several international conferences or chair of the program committee.
